English as a Second Language

Five days every week English classes are held at St. Paul's for those people to whom English is a second or brand-new language. Daytimes and evenings, a kaleidoscope of nationalities come through our doors to get a head start on life in America or to brush up on the skills they need to succeed in claiming their share of the American Dream.

English as Second Language (ESL) classes are sponsored by our partner in social ministry, Lutheran Children and Family Services, and hosted by St. Paul's. Contact the church office, or LCFS, for more information.


Food Bank

Every Monday and Wednesday, St. Paul's food bank distributes packages of food to those of our neighbors who are temporarily down on their luck. This long-standing and successful program is ably managed by Gladys Meyers who coordinates the St. Paul's distribution point with the Philadelphia Food Bank.

The food is available once per month to Olney residents only. Food bank hours are 9am to noon, Monday and Wednesday.

Each first Mondy of the month, 6:30pm - stop in for unstructured prayer time.

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is
offered on the first Sunday of each month.


Children's Sunday School offered from 9:15am to 10:15am.

Adult Christian education from 9:15am to 10:15am.
The nursery is open from 9 to 11.
